Xiangqi

Chinese Chess board game against a computer opponent. To win you need to capture the general of your opponent.

Move your pieces according to their specific movement rules. The King can only step one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Guards can only move diagonal moves within the palace. Ministers move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot move to the opponent's side. Horses move one square straight and then one square diagonally, unless obstructed by adjacent pieces. Rooks move any number of squares straight, making them powerful attackers. Cannons move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Pawns move forward one square and attack sideways after crossing the river. Take the opponent's general to win the game. Plan your moves carefully to defeat the computer opponent.
